Project Mission
Through the Mental Health First Aid Kits, Trauma Speaks aims to provide supportive resources for student-age youth who may be navigating emotional distress or mental health challenges. These kits are carefully thought and put together by our founder and co-founder based on their experiences working with clients to offer accessible tools, information, and guidance that can help young people better understand their experiences and identify healthy ways to care for their well-being.
Today’s students face a range of complex stressors, and at times the adults around them may not have the training, resources, or language needed to fully support those experiences. Our goal is to offer practical tools and foundational mental health education that foster awareness, resilience, and help-seeking. By providing these resources, we hope to empower students with knowledge and coping strategies they can carry with them throughout their lives.
Trauma Speaks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 100% of proceeds from every kit purchase go directly toward funding our [Mental Health Kits & Outreach] and ending the stigma surrounding mental health.
